Terms of Service
The rules for using TimerHub, kept as short as we could make them.
Last updated: November 4, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These terms apply to your use of timerhub.app (“TimerHub”, “the site”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them; if you don't, please don't use it. TimerHub is free, needs no account, and may be used for personal and business purposes. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live.
2. Accuracy and what not to rely on us for
We work hard to keep time zones, daylight saving rules, holidays, sunrise and moon times and date calculations correct, and we say where each figure comes from on the About page. But governments change time zone and holiday rules, sometimes at short notice, and astronomical times are calculated estimates that terrain, weather and refraction can shift. Results are provided for general information, and we can't guarantee they are free of errors.
Don't rely on TimerHub where a wrong time could cause harm or loss — for example medication timing, safety-critical work, navigation, aviation or maritime use, legal or contractual deadlines, or travel bookings. Check those against an official source.
3. Timers and alarms
Timers, alarms and stopwatches run in your browser and depend on your device. A closed tab, a sleeping or low-power device, a muted or disconnected speaker, blocked notifications or a browser that pauses background pages can delay or silence them. Keep the page open and test the sound before relying on an alarm, and don't use TimerHub as your only alarm for anything important.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
- scrape, crawl or request pages at a volume that disrupts the site, or bypass any measure we use to limit access;
- probe, attack or interfere with the site, its servers or other visitors, or introduce malware;
- copy or republish substantial parts of the site's content or tools to build a competing service;
- create shared countdown links whose titles are unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that impersonate someone or carry someone else's personal information;
- send spam, abusive or misleading messages through the contact form.
5. Shared countdown links
A shared countdown's title and date are written into its link, so you are responsible for what you put there. Titles are filtered before they are shown, and we may block any link or title that breaks these terms. Shared countdown pages are not endorsed by us.
6. Our content, and citing us
The site's design, text, graphics and code belong to TimerHub or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Time zone, holiday and astronomical data come from the public sources credited on the About page and remain under their own licences.
You may link to any page, and quote short excerpts or individual results, as long as you credit “TimerHub” with a link to the page. Search engines and AI answer services may index and cite our pages according to our robots.txt.
7. Your messages to us
If you send us feedback, corrections or ideas, you agree we may use them to improve the site without owing you payment or any other obligation. How we handle the personal information in your message is described in the privacy policy.
8. Third-party services and links
The site uses third-party analytics and hosting (see the privacy policy and cookie policy) and links to websites we don't control. Links are not endorsements, and we aren't responsible for third-party content, products or services. The site currently shows no ads.
9. No warranty
The site and every tool are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimerHub and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any result it gives — including a missed meeting, flight, deadline or alarm. The site is free, and your sole remedy if you are unhappy with it is to stop using it.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless TimerHub and its operators from claims, losses and expenses arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes, availability and termination
Tools may change, be temporarily unavailable, or behave differently on different browsers and devices. We may change, suspend or discontinue any tool or part of the site at any time, and may limit or block access for anyone who breaks these terms or creates a security or operational risk. The sections on content, acceptable use, warranty, liability and indemnity continue to apply after access ends.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Disputes and your consumer rights
If you have a concern about the site, please tell us first through the contact form — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live; where those laws apply, they prevail over anything here that conflicts with them.
14. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the privacy policy and cookie policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form.
