Frequently asked questions
Does the time difference change with daylight saving?
Yes. The difference is computed from each city's current UTC offset, so it automatically reflects daylight saving time on both sides — which is why the gap between two cities can change by an hour at certain times of year.
Is the difference shown live?
Yes. Both clocks update every second and the headline difference is recalculated from your device's current time.
What does 'ahead' and 'behind' mean?
'Ahead' means the second city's local clock is later than the first city's; 'behind' means it's earlier. For example, Tokyo is several hours ahead of London.
