How do I start the 10 seconds timer?
This page is already set to 10 seconds. Just press Start and it counts down to zero, then plays a sound alert. Keep the tab open while it runs.
Does it work in the background?
Yes, on a computer: the timer keeps accurate time in a background tab and rings when it finishes. Closing the browser stops it. On a phone, the browser may pause a background tab or a locked screen: the time is still right when you come back, but the sound can't play while it's paused, so keep the screen on.
Can I change the duration?
Yes — use “Set Duration” on the timer to pick any custom time, or open the main Countdown Timer.
