How is the exact age calculated?
The calculator compares your date of birth to the current date and expresses the gap as complete years, months, and days, accounting for leap years.
Why does the age update over time?
It uses the live current time, so your total hours and days-until-birthday stay accurate as time passes without needing a refresh.
What if my birthday is today?
The days-until-next-birthday value will show Today, and your age in years increments on that day.
How are the life-in-numbers figures worked out?
Heartbeats are an estimate at about 80 beats a minute, a typical resting rate; yours will differ. Nights slept counts one per calendar day since birth. Full moons are approximate: your age in days divided by 29.53, the average time between full moons. Laps around the sun is your age in years with the fraction since your last birthday, at roughly 940 million km per lap.
