Frequently asked questions

Which days count as business days?

Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are always excluded. If you select a country, its public and bank holidays are excluded as well.

Are the start and end dates included?

The start date is not counted and the end date is, like counting “days from” a date. Monday to Friday of the same week is 4 business days; a range that starts and ends on the same day is 0. Add 1 if you want to count the start day too.

Which countries' holidays are supported?

A set of popular countries is available in the holiday dropdown, covering a range of recent and upcoming years. Dates outside that range fall back to weekends only, and the tool tells you when that happens.

Can I add business days instead of counting them?

Yes. Switch to “Add business days,” enter a start date and a number, and the tool returns the resulting working day (holiday-aware if you pick a country).
