Frequently asked questions
What is a bridge day?
A working day between a public holiday and a weekend. Taking it off joins them into one longer break, like taking Friday off after a Thursday holiday for four days in a row.
How are suggestions ranked?
By days off per day of leave, then by the length of the break. We only suggest breaks of four days or more that need at most two days of leave.
Are regional holidays included?
No. Only national public and bank holidays are counted, so states, provinces and employers may give you more days off.
What about countries with a Friday–Saturday weekend?
Each country uses its own weekend, for example Friday and Saturday in Saudi Arabia, so the suggestions fit the working week there.
